MEGA ROAD TRIP! Sedona, Part 1

0

This morning, my mom woke me up and told me we were going on a MEGA ROAD TRIP! But first, we have to fly to our starting destination. It’s been so long since I’ve been on an airplane! The view above the clouds looks great up here. I wonder where we are going…

*Some many hours later*

WELCOME TO SEDONA, ARIZONA! I have heard wonderful things about this place, from the fantastic views and the power of the vortexes. This sounds like a trip for my bear cub scout uniform, for sure!

Here I am at the Bell Rock vortex. It looks like a bell, doesn’t it? This rock formation is known for its strong vortex energy. Many people like to meditate here to get some of the positive vibes flowing from this rock, which is mostly layers of sandstone and limestone.

Let’s get to the trailhead so we can figure out which hike to go on.

Yes, I can feel the power! I can feel the energy! And I can feel… hmm… well, this is odd… I can feel a… a canine sort of energy approaching me… and…

“HI AJDIN!” called a familiar voice.

“DROOPY??? YOU AGAIN?” I couldn’t believe it. (I ran into Droopy earlier this year during a visit to the San Jacinto Battleground Historic Site, and on several international trips as well.) I’m sure I’ll run into Droopy again later on this trip.

Look at this prickly cactus plant! Be very careful when hiking around here as you don’t want to get poked by one of these.

Here’s a view from afar of Cathedral Rock, another well-known vortex in Sedona. It is massive and even has a formation that looks like a door to a church. Very impressive!

Now I’m inside the Chapel of the Holy Cross, a church that is built right up there in the rock with some fantastic views! It’s a bit of a small church, but the view out the window is amazing.

See what I mean?

I wonder where we are going next…

THE MEGA ROAD TRIP CONTINUES…
